I'm starting to think this may actually the best Bruder... the lightest of them all by far, so easier to tow/maneuver, better fuel consumption/range, many amenities, and with the rooftop tent sleeping space for four...

Unless the stainless steel hinge pin is isolated from the aluminium frame, then there will be galvanic corrosion. A paint coating is insufficient protection unless you can ensure that there are no wear points. A hard task when travelling offroad.

Hey guys this looks so good! I wish we could get the 79 series here in England too….. Sadly we can’t that I’m aware of anyway! So I’m building my Nissan Navara D40 V6 out. Currently I’m waiting on my Bush tech canopy to arrive, as soon as that’s fitted I’ve already bought and paid for the Bush company AX27 roof tent and the 270 XT MAX awning.. Then it’s a huge road trip planned across to Southern Ireland and the Hebrdean Islands of Islay, Jura and Skye… Then on to Northern Scotland to do a trip called the NC500 a 500 mile pretty much single track road … The wild Atlantic coast of western Ireland and the rough north coast of Scotland will definitely test the gear to the max, especially the winds. This is good if you're going to stay for days in one place.. BUT for quick and easy set up and breakdown, it's the opposite 🫠

Fishermen always spec good rig builds and this one is awesome - simple and functional. Anyone who wants a patio on their beach wagon and uses a RodEzy is all class IMO.

And now people will hopefully understand why a wall kit cost what it costs

Nice setup! That canopy, that's separate from the tent, right? So I can use a Roofnest brand pop up tent instead of that one? I'm considering a new F150 Raptor, the RSI Smartcap (though don't know if I should get the Sport or Adventure, a Roofnest pop up tent, torn between the newest Condor2 or Sparrow2, and seeing that canopy set up I think I'd like one of those too. Have been considering a smooth, black Diamondback HD bedcover instead of the RSI Smartcap.

When sitting up the front of the awning what would happen if the front roof rack was full? Also you can't get into the tent when the back of the awning is set up, this would be a pain in the arse if it was raining.

Actually, in order to not put any stress on the mount at the tent, you should leave the excess section of the ladder at the very top so that any stress downward can be taken up by the spare extension still remaining in the top section, not at the bottom.

Any thoughts on making a pop top conversion kit for the G-wagon? That would be the ultimate, rear door entry, not just a roof top accessible by ladder. A fully enclosed Bush Company habitat……

One of your earlier vids shows the install of an AX27 & XT 270 Max on a Kings MT1 camper trailer. Do you think it will be possible to also install a TX27 Max ? as that would be my preferred option
